Minna Island Honeymoon Holidays

We loved this hotel. We were staying in the premier grand suite which was very spacious (2 separate bedrooms at each end of a hallway) and luxurious. We made use of the spa and treatments. Staff were lovely. We also enjoyed the pool but unfortunately there is some construction nearby so noise. Also, the beach was pretty but not swimmable as it is very shallow but good for young children. The breakfast spread was great and had some of the best croissants ever!

The property is spacious and beautiful. The Olu grill is a gem. Unfortunately, the activities on site are lacking and the in room breakfast is mediocre. We also booked water activities with the hotel. The snorkeling activity was disorganized and took place in heavy rain, which made it not enjoyable. Overall, this stay was a disappointment.

Unless you want to whisper everywhere you go, consider the other hotel that has the floating obstacle course. We were on the fence between the 2. If we knew what Halekulani was like, we would have stayed anywhere else. With 2 young kids and being younger and funner people, we weren't the kind of people they wanted. Also, food is terrible. Axle at the lounge is incredible.
