We were picking up our daughter from University of Sydney, so that was our initial criteria.... but we were pleasantly surprised with how lovely the hotel was. Tidying the room was hit and miss, but the staff was lovely.

Great location. Right near excellent restaurants, cafes, amenities, and quirky shops. The room and adjoining bathroom were good, does the job for what you need if you plan on spending the majority of your time out and about. However, the lack of storage is difficult if you plan to stay longer than a night or two. The staff are friendly and very helpful!
A fun/weird experience was that from our balcony window we could see a neighbouring cat use a nearby tin roof to sunbake and as a toilet.
