Unfortunately, Beachcomber Island Resort was extremely disappointing and did not match what was advertised on Expedia. This property is listed as a 4-star resort, but in our experience, it was closer to a 2-star property at best. We saw roaches at the breakfast buffet, including on serving utensils. The food was poor, the drinks included in the package were nearly undrinkable, and our shower had mold. The rooms are not fully sealed, so noise carries throughout the night. We also felt overnight guests were often overlooked while staff catered more to day-trip visitors. The conditions were bad enough that we left three nights early and paid to stay elsewhere. We spoke directly with the General Manager about our experience. He later contacted me and stated that we would be refunded for our three unused nights and meals. At his request, I provided my banking information for the refund. After receiving it, he stopped responding. I have followed up and still have not received the promised refund. We travel frequently and have used Expedia for years, and this is the first property we have stayed at that differed this much from its listing. I strongly recommend Expedia reevaluate the 4-star rating. I would not recommend this property.

The best shower for all hotel I had been. There were so many activities for you to enjoy. I met new friends, so fun. The property builders in 1972, still good maintain. The best of all to make this place luxury was the team members who work here. They were so nice, friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a very convenient location.

The property is poorly maintained. 2 pools and over 7 days never saw them being cleaned or treated. The back pool is meant to be a swim up bar but the bar is full of junk. When we arrived there was no television, the staff on reception told us it blew up. The fridge did not work, and it took them over 24 hours to replace after many requests. The lounges near the beach are torn and dirty. The food is just. We ended up eating at a near by restaurants. The staff are friendly but overall, the place needs a good renovation.

Nice place for the money spent

Great value compared to the other resorts , We did the bula bus to compare with other resorts and in all honesty I would say the grounds were better than at the Hilton . The staff were all so nice to.. We are definitely going back. Thanks Andy and Toni
