The Shoreman is in a great location, well kept, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We have stayed here a few times and have no complaints.

Chris is the heart and soul of this hotel. He anticipates what you need before you even ask! He is fun, kind, and very professional!

My stay at Hotel Riu in Times Square was nothing short of fantastic! The location couldn't be better, situated right in the heart of the bustling Times Square and Restaurant Row. It's the perfect base for exploring the city, with easy access to numerous attractions, shops, and dining options. The staff at Hotel Riu were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant, and they were always willing to assist with any request. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to my experience. The rooms were well-appointed, spacious, and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a busy day in the city. The modern decor blended perfectly with the vibrant atmosphere outside. Service throughout the hotel was impeccable, with prompt responses to any needs and a welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Riu for anyone looking to enjoy the energy of Times Square while experiencing top-notch hospitality. I would definitely stay there again during my next trip to NYC!

Excellent location if you are driving into Washington Heights- parking right behind hotel (and affordable). Room was clean and super nice. The only item of annoyance is forcing an amenity fee which I did not use and it allowed me to opt out, but I was still charged.

Internet was okay, nice staff

I was pretty surprised how quickly this place has gone downhill in just the last 12-18 months given it’s still a relatively new property.

Spa experience was amazing!

1. Beds squeak so bad - if you breathe the bed squeaks. 2. 5am - the trash truck or whomever start honking their horns ~ ALL MORNING LONG. There is no reprieve from this. 3. No WiFi 4. No laundry/washer available 5. We were never really sure when our room was going to be serviced. 75% it was, but yea… 6. Thin bathtowels 7 The TV has this weird subtitle thing that describes everything happening on the show your watching; there is no shutting this off. Not even worth watching. 8. The shower water is SO HOT it will burn ur skin. Please leave it on minimum for a barely acceptable shower. 9. Mattresses are very… broken in. 10. The convenience of the location was great but for the price, I probably could have went somewhere better. Lesson learned.

Was initially put in the room that shared a wall with the gym. 202. No one should be given that room. My daughter and I were there in ny to attend an early morning doctor appt at NYU. We were woken up at 10:30 by banging coming from the gym. I called and they moved us to a quieter location but we lost some sleep since we had to repack and move and get resettled for our early morning. That room should not be given out to guests ever.

The location was perfect and staff was great however bed were a tad uncomfortable and there was a noise issue and we did have to move rooms the second night we stayed
