Staff was friendly, room was clean and well equipped.
Was on the 2nd floor. No elevator so had to schlep heavy luggage up stairs and past several other hotel rooms.
Not enough parking. Had to twice park in lower dirt lot and schlep said heavy luggage a long distance across parking lot, while stalls near room were taken by a boat??? and a motorcycle.
Name of the hotel is a misnomer. There are no views of the beautiful Bay of Islands.

The property was older and was only up to date in the kitchen and bathroom. The surrounding area was somewhat messy and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were no services provided aside of clean towels. The laundry area was very messy.
