The property is very well maintained. The beach is beautiful and clean. All the staff are very helpful and attentive. The food, service and ambience at the Sea Salt restaurant is excellent. It is truly a wonderful experience to dine with the beautiful view of the morning sun and sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4- night stay at the hotel and look forward to return again next year.

Architecture & ocean views from common areas were stunning. Service was impeccable, food & drinks were thoughtful & delectable.

My stay at Alila was perfect, the food was incredible & staff were all so friendly and attentive. Some issues with check in as had already paid & reception staff asked for whole amount again $3k AUD. Found the reception staff quite rude and was charged 854,000 IDR for 3 beers and 8 sparking waters, whilst sitting at the lobby to go I was asked for more money, this experience was terrible considering how much money I had spent at the resort during my 4 nights (NB warning do not have mini bar drinks in your room) also found someone in my room who claimed to have restocked although only 1 tonic was restocked although not the 3 cans of beer consumed which is all I had in those 4 days

Curator Andhika and team did a fantastic job welcoming us; always with a warm smile and greeting. The ocean view from our room is simply breathtaking. Truly serene atmosphere for our relaxing stay. Would love to stay longer for next visit to explore more nearby cities.

Great location! Took bus from airport for 3usd and was dropped off right in front. Staff was amazingly helpful and even did currency exchange for me. Hotel is nice with food hall and many eating options withing 5 mins walking distance. Staff upgraded my stay to a 4 bed but I was traveling solo. Can't complain about extra space in Asia!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms are a little dated but clean and serviceable. Shower over bath is ok if you are not too tall! Food was good but difficult to navigate as a vegan, labelling could definitely have been better. Great hotel for a few days of total relaxation and rest.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Banyan Tree with my husband and two kids, aged 10 and 9. We travel a lot and I can definitely say this is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! We absolutely loved it from the second we arrived on the Island. We had booked here as a relaxing few days following a week in Singapore and it was the perfect choice! Our 2 bedroom, ocean view villa with pool was stunning. Took our breath away as soon as we walked in. The whole resort is spotless and the staff are all wonderful, can’t do enough to help you. There's a small kitchen with a fridge and sink. You can’t cook there but we had asked for a microwave as my husband likes to make porridge in the morning which helpfully, was there when we arrived. The buffet breakfast is good, with lots of options. There’s several restaurant choices for eating and all were excellent. With kids, we loved the Xana beach bar which we didn’t need to book. Cocktails were great there too. The pools are lovely, the beach is breathtaking. We also tried the jet skiing which was good fun. Evenings are chilled, there’s a DJ at the beach bar who will do a request if you ask nicely. I would 100% recommend and if I’m ever back in that part of the world would definitely go back.
