Live Oak Island Cheap Holidays

The trip start off ok but on our last day to stay the door just automatically locked from the inside on using the latch,the security guard came trying to help multiple time.but wanted us to switch rooms with none of our belongings….which we wasn’t about to do at all then after a good min when I stated I don’t feel safe I’m about call the police the front desk attendant went to our room on the 3rd floor and just automatically got In the room after we was locked out from 1am to 2am

Bed was extremely uncomfortable, creaking with every move and bedding was shedding its filling. Room wasn’t properly cleaned and housekeeping only visited twice in our 4 night stay when it was advertised for daily. Overall it was fine but not great.

Wonderful surroundings, beautifully kept grounds/hotel. Super friendly staff. Free tram to Disney springs was very nice. Very nice swimming area. The only downsides I could speak of: breakfast was $29/adult for a buffet style breakfast. There were no stores near enough to walk to for bare essentials or super cheap food. The only options if you don’t have a car of your own is to DoorDash everything or uber/lyft to the nearest restaurant/supermarket. There also “laundry facilities “ listed as amenities but are not there. Dry clean only and only during particular hours.
