Great place to relax and do nothing... not much to do if you are not into water things

Our stay at this island resort was absolutely amazing. The island itself is stunning, with crystal-clear water, beautiful scenery, and a truly peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the crowds. The staff were exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you're looking for a quiet, tranquil getaway, this resort is the perfect choice. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

This resort is brilliant for relaxing. Only 20 adults on site at any time, which provides a great ambience and chilled vibe. The transfers are magical - we chose the helicopter in, and the boat out. The food was terrific and the accommodation very good with great views. The resort is highly recommended!

Our stay was just ok. The trash was still full and in the kitchen from the previous guest, there were dead roaches, there were dirty popsicle sticks by the pool. The coffee machine didn’t work either. A staff member did drop a different one by after I let them know. We also had the doorbell ring at 2am and wake everyone in the house… apparently this is common when the batteries run low? Seems like they should be routinely changed to prevent that from occurring. None of these issues are big, but combined are quite a few blunders considering we paid top dollar to stay here.

The room was very clean and spacious and had everything you need. The room has a small terrace with a table and chairs that looks out onto the water. So peaceful and tranquil! Shout out to Jac at reception who got us checked in a little early and was super helpful with some great recommendations for drinks and food in town.

qualia is one of the most beautiful properties we have visited. The setting, architecture, views, and atmosphere truly feel special and uniquely Australian. Our arrival experience was excellent. Noemi provided a warm airport pickup, smooth check-in, and a thoughtful overview of the property and room. The accommodations themselves were stunning. We also had an incredible “Best of Both Worlds” tour with Pedro, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The main challenge during the first 24 hours was inconsistency in service attentiveness. At times, particularly at the pool and during our first dinner at Long Pavilion, service felt less proactive than expected for a property at this level. Drink refills, reservation follow-up, and simple check-ins occasionally required prompting rather than feeling naturally anticipated. What truly elevated the experience was the response from leadership. Rebecca, the General Manager, was exceptional: thoughtful, responsive, attentive, and genuinely interested in feedback. Her professionalism and accountability significantly improved the remainder of our stay. Beach Club dinner was another standout, with warm staff, relaxed pacing, and beautifully prepared food and cocktails. Overall, qualia delivers an extraordinary setting and many memorable moments. Great view, needs a bit of cleaning and refreshing. But good location and value.
