South Fork All inclusive Holidays

I stay the Sonesta each year when I'm in town for a conference. I love the location because it's within walking distance of Grand Central Station. From there, I can hop on the train and go anywhere I want in New York. I also love that the rooms at the Sonesta are spacious and clean. I've stayed at other hotels with much smaller rooms, which quickly become cramped if you stay for several days. The staff at the Sonesta are also incredibly helpful. The Assistant Manager, Justin, helped me resolve an issue I didn't even know I had. The only thing from this recent trip that was a concern is that the elevators were not fully working. Otherwise, I look forward to my stay at the Sonesta again the next time I'm in New York.

The room was small and the bathroom is a tight fit. Great black out shades and very quiet. The pillows were not as firm as I'd prefer. The shower was a bit drippy, but was overall ok. I liked that I can cast my apps to the TV. The staff was helpful and nice. T.C., at breakfast restaurant, was very friendly and always had a smile. We went to the Lantern Keep Friday night after we arrived and sat for at least 15 minutes without anyone ever coming to the table. Even after being escorted by a staff member to the Lantern Keep due to the main restaurant (da Toscano) being full. However, it worked out. We walked a few doors down to the Red Flame Diner, and it was DELICIOUS! The breakfast vouchers offer a limited, but tasty selection. Most of our breakfast experiences were fine except on Sunday morning were we never got our coffee. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. It was conveniently located and accommodated us well for 4 nights.

We stayed in a Junior Skyline Suite, the outdoor deck was a real treat! The king bed was very comfortable, and the rain shower head with hand held spray bar in the shower was very enjoyable. A clean room with lots of natural light. Very friendly desk staff as well as great breakfast eateries next door. Convenient to Grand Central and walking distance to Time Square. I would absolutely stay here again!
