Bendles was just as advertised. Quiet, tranquil, clean and wonderful. Really enjoyed our 2 day stay there Had everything you need and more!

My wife and i stayed at the Meridian Port Douglas in November this year. Our room was awesome. Our room had pool access from the bedroom. Very clean bathroom and a nice big bed. Staff were very friendly, and even let us use the facilities there on our checkout, while we waited for our coach back to Cairns. We will definitely book with them again next year. Also, adults only was a plus! Cheers!

Very friendly staff. We were able to check in early. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Very good location, easy walking distance to the Esplanade, The Wharf and the beach.

The room was very clean and the staff where very helpful will be going back to stay again and in a perfect location a short stroll to the Main Street

Resort was close to the village as well as the sea. No need to drive there unless you went further. Very quiet and relaxing. Thank you Shantara Resort.

Resort was close to the village as well as the sea. No need to drive there unless you went further. Very quiet and relaxing. Thank you Shantara Resort.

Don’t be put off by the drive in the property is beautiful the blue room I stayed in was large and well furnished with every amenity you could with for I spent my days swimming lengths and in the generous pool relaxing in the hot tub and watching the many wallaby’s munching on their grass. Don’t forget to book the three course meal the food was delicious. The treatments were also excellent.
