No downside here. Building is part of Broadbeach shops and beach down the street. Supermarket 100 metres away. Pool very good. No problem with late departure…you can stay in resort until 5.00pm, and they gave us a key card and tow beach towels to use. Cannot fault any aspect.

Great apartment in a great spot

A basic 5-star hotel featuring some spacious condos with private pools. While a few staff members are outstanding, many are unfriendly. Amenities like valet, bar, music, buffet breakfast, and stylish Versace-inspired features are available, even though they can be tacky and often unclean; overall, however, everything feels average or below expectations.

We had good time staying in Dorchester. Right on the beach with breathtaking views. Construction nearby was not disruptive.

Location, ocean views and hotel amenities are all fantastic. Room is well appointed with a comfortable layout. Room displayed signs of wear and was not as clean as I would have expected.

The service & staff were amazing. The carpet in the room was stained, the ice machine wasn’t working and there wasn’t any complementary water or snacks in the room.

The room was spotless. The lovely ladies who run the hotel are the nicest, most helpful people you could ever want. The views from all the windows are spectacular. I will be back many, many times.

Clean rooms, kitchen with everything you need, right across the road from the beach, short walk to Coolangatta if you need anything, despite being close to the gc airport you don't hear anything

The property was well located. It is basically an apartment building (not a hotel) and you are renting a condo. You get keys, and the beach is well located across the street. There are clearly full time tenants/owners also in the building from the state of the garage. Also many families there, and it seems well suited to family vacations (if you don't like screaming kids then FYI). There are no restaurants or stores in walking distance so buying groceries ahead is necessary. There are few cool restaurants or bars to walk to so Uber is a good idea. The decoration and furniture is a bit dated, but it was clean. Also, do your own dishes or you will be charged, there was a sign on the counter about that. The view from our unit was great, though, we could see the surf.
