"AVOID THIS RESORT! Tambua Sands Beach Resort was an absolute disaster. Appalling service, incompetent staff, zero accountability and a complete waste of money! We booked through Expedia on 20 August for 25 September, reserving a Beachfront Bure with Plunge Pool and Outdoor Shower. Upon arrival, we were told OUR CONFIRMED ROOM HAD BEEN GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE! "I did not like the fact that midway through our stay we were approached to pay $400.00 plus on our account. I have never experienced this ever, considering we do a reasonable amount of travelling. I was also upset because the several people staying at the hotel I spoke to said that they were never approached to do the same. So my question is? WHY US?? Is it because you didn't trust us?? "My wife amd i stayed for a week and had the best relaxing week! We have a special diet and the staff/chefs accommodated every meal, and the food tasted incredible!!!! Also all the staff you meet are extremely nice - we feel like we have made friends. We absolutely recommend staying here - it is magical!"
