The food was always delicious and the dining recommendations were divine! The best meals we had in Greece were on Naxos. "Ideal hotel, generous room sizes, considerate design and attention to detail, non-corporate, kind staff and in perfect location for a holiday in Naxos. Easy to walk into town by beach or through the streets, the beach is on your doorstep if you want to swim in the sea and there is also a lovely pool at the hotel. Close to a bus stop if you want to venture over to the bigger beaches south of Naxos Town. We came for three nights and then changed our holiday plans so we could return for a further three nights. Naxos is the best island and we say Alkyoni is the best hotel."

"Georgia Mare is a wonderful hotel. Everything is new and in perfect condition. The breakfasts are excellent. The location is very good, away from the tourist area but easy to walk to. Superb restaurants are 4-5 minutes away. But the part is Spiros the owner. He is so kind, helpful and genuine, a truly wonderful person who made our stay special. "
