Wonderful

Our group of 6 had a nice stay for 4 nights. We enjoyed navigating the area’s bars and restaurants, hiking the trails, and relaxing on the mountain top.
The cabin met most of our needs. We expected enough garbage bags, paper towel, and dish soap to last our stay. Hoped for paper plates, plastic wrap, foil, and sandwich bags. But the cabin wasn’t stocked with anything extra.
There was a strong smell of sulfur that loomed in the area of the cabin which we could not find the cause.
The check in process was seemless, very helpful with directions. When called for a broom, they gave us the code to get it for the closet.
Would return and rent again.
We enjoyed staying at Sunday Silence for the week. The CliffView Resort it is situated in was very lovely, and we enjoyed nightly walks around the many ponds. Regularly saw deer and the occasional blue heron. We enjoyed our coffee each morning on the back deck, as well as a game of cards at the picnic table there. Very peaceful! Family room was comfortable and decorated nicely, and there was ample space for us overall. So handy to have use of the washer and dryer too. When we had a maintenance issue as well as a coffee pot stop working, our phone call to report these issues was returned very promptly, and a replacement coffee pot brought out within an hour or so! The only constructive criticisms I have are 1) the cabin could use a deep clean, not just the usual surface cleaning done between rental times. Counters , appliances and mirrors weren’t very clean (they all had a streaky haze like cleaned with a dirty rag) and wood walls and floors needed a good dusting/mopping. The back patio furniture, floors and mat could use some attention as well. 2) We didn’t care for the support the foam type mattresses provided, but the sheets and pillows were very comfortable. Overall, I would recommend the cabin!
We really enjoyed our family weekend getaway here. We were able to bring our dog because of the dog run. The weather was beautiful so we were also able to enjoy the hot tub. The space was just right for our family of five adults. Love the wraparound porch - we spent most of our time here!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunday Silence. You could tell the property is well-cared for. The beds were comfortable and the bed linens were very nice quality, the kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed being back in the woods with a lot of privacy. The fire pit area was perfect for a family fire.
Nice cabin! Had all the amenities you need. Wasn’t sure if fishing pond at bottom of the hills was free use as there wasn’t a good way to get to it without walking through another cabins yard/ area
Quiet cabin in the woods. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was very nice. We did not use the kitchen. The kitchen was very nice for a cabin. There were quite a few local restaurants in the area that we visited.
This was just what we were looking for! It was close to the food options the night we ate out and just a few minutes from hiking and kayaking. Our kids loved walking in the woods and fishing at the multiple ponds around although you have to walk to them. My boys even nabbed a bass. The kitchen was stocked with pans and supplies and there was charcoal for the grill. The washer and dryer were super helpful. The hot tub was perfect temp but make sure you are changing the jets and not the temp(buttons are a bit loved):) There was plenty of seating and a gorgeous table out back. They even had a fire pit and roasting sticks for the fire hanging by the back door. Perfect spot for the right price!
Only areas for growth are there needs to be a bit of lighting out front by the fire pit, we didn’t think to bring a lamp, and the steps to the loft are not lit at night. We laid out a flashlight for the kiddos to come down. But we definitely made some memories that will last a lifetime!
I was very impressed with the attention to details, extra towel racks, completely outfitted kitchen, layout, etc. It was obvious a lot of thought and experience went into setting these cabins up, it's not just walls and roof...it's an experience!
Our family was looking for a quiet getaway from the city. & this place was perfect. The pictures are exactly like the cabin, except there is covering over by the fire pit with the picnic table. Absolutely loved the back porch. We took a trip up the SkyLift to Natural Bridge & it was breath taking views. I cannot complain about anything about our stay. We will definitely be going back!!
We’ve rented cabins and cottages for almost 20 years. This is by far one of my favorites! The location is close to activities. The cabin is well stocked, clean, and has a great set up. We loved the hot tub! We just had a wonderful time hiking and kayaking.
Thank you so much for opening up your adorable cabin! The abundance of blankets and pillows were amazing, the furniture and beds comfy and homey and the fireplace pulled it all together! In addition, our fur-babies - young and old - were able to comfortably navigate around inside and out.
We had a lovely meditation retreat at this beautiful and cosy property.
However we were five friends traveling from different parts of KY and OH at different times of the days and it was frustrating that the host had not shared a full address of the property anywhere! Lesley at the rental office was very kind and helpful and provided a detailed map but did not know the actual address either!! I then absolutely insisted that she call up the host and find out the full address just in case there was an emergency and heaven forbid that we needed to call an ambulance.. The host eventually did provide the address to Lesley.
I strongly recommend that VRBO will ask hosts to share the actual address once the booking has been finalized.
Other than that the property was wonderful and the kitchen well equipped.
Great Cabin in a Quiet Location - Awesome for dog owners!
We rented the cabin 'Sunday Silence' for our family last weekend. After checking in and getting ready to head to our cabin, our truck's transmission gave out...halfway onto the main road. Our cell had no signal to call AAA in that area, so our only choice was to return to the cabin office and ask to use their landline. Mike and Leslie were beyond helpful and kindly assisted us for the 90 minutes it took the tow truck to arrive and load the truck. They looked up the closest dealership and gave us the contact information - they even got a bowl of cold water for our dogs. It was NOT the start we wanted to our vacation, but their kindness meant the world to us, being 3+ hours from home and unfamiliar with anything in the area. Our cabin (once we finally were able to settle in) was beyond amazing, with very comfortable beds, a lovely location, a huge fenced dog area, plus the patio/porch area was enclosed as well, making it even more convenient to dog owners. With a firepit, grill, and cozy living room, we had a ton of options to enjoy our down time. The hot tub was amazing and we hope to make it back down soon to enjoy it again, minus the truck drama. Once again, the kindness and understanding of the team at Cabin Bridge Cabin Company truly meant the world to us. We recommend this company to anyone that wants spend time at Red River Gorge.
The property was very well maintained and comfortable. It's a short drive to the state parks trails but the surrounding area is pretty enough with all the ponds and trees to walk around if you don't feel like driving. The kitchen was completely stocked with all the cookware you could need. Hot tub and fire pit were perfect!
We had a great stay. Cabin was nice and clean. Accurately advertised. It was a bit of a challenge finding it in the dark on arrival. Loved the hot tub after hiking.
Nice cabin DEEP in woods. It's in a cabin "development" behind the Zipline facility. About 8-10min off main road, one way in and out. The 2nd bedroom is also one of the entrances into the cabin, kind of a mudroom turned bedroom, but it works as there is another door to use. Has everything you might need to cook including crockpot, toaster, coffee pot and all kinds of pots and pans. Hot tub was awesome to use after long day of hiking. We enjoyed it
