"Great location and spa facilities. Hotel is very clean and the rooms (Delux) are very spacious. Delux rooms also have an additional toilet. We had to request to get our room cleaned after 3 days of no cleaning! Other hotel guests had left their room service dishes, with leftover food in the hallway. It remained there overnight and most of the next day! We did request for the plates to be taken away. Ask for coffee pods to be restocked during a room clean as they do not always do this. The best rooms in Amphora Gardens are on the front east side of the building as you have an amazing view of the sea. For promenade views, ask for a room on the far west side of the building.Ground floor rooms have no views. The hotel is overlooked by Amphora hotel. Downstairs pool was very cold during mid June, however you can easily pop into the heated indoor pool. Rooftop pool is warmer however it would imagine that it gets very warm on the rooftop sun bathing area during high season. The spa facilities are excellent. One of the best hotel spas that i have ever visited. The hotel was very quiet during mid June - that was perfect for us. The beach bars and beach area across the road are excellent! Great facilities and very very clean!"

"This a nice hotel in a great location. I’m glad I got to stay here. My room was modem, large, and clean. I appreciated the helpful staff and how housekeeping brings you chocolate in the evening! The breakfast area was well presented with a large selection of foods. In the evening I wanted to eat in the restaurant because it was late. There was no one there eating or any staff around. So I asked reception and they checked and said they were still serving. So I went back and still no one to greet me. I went to the other reception area and the person there recommended a good restaurant that was open late and not far away. So that was helpful and I appreciated that. I did feel like I wasn’t given much information when I checked in. Like the fact that I had to go to the other side of the hotel to access the gym and spa. ( there are two separate wings and reception areas) I also wasn’t told that there are limited hours for the gym and pool. The gym and spa area were great. It was the nicest, biggest hotel gym I had ever used. I really appreciated that amenity. I had a great 25 minute massage in the spa. I was unable to use the pool or jacuzzi because they close very early and I didn’t realize that. I went up there and it was not very inviting. It’s more of a bar area. Not many sun loungers . The staff did not seem friendly or welcoming. So that was unfortunate and took away from my stay a little bit. Overall it was a nice stay, but I did expect a little more from a 5 star hotel."

"Such a warm welcome from reception staff which as a solo traveller was greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The Spa facilities were a real treat and included within the price so as well as using the spa later in the day I also managed a swim before breakfast. The beaches aren't great so the roof top pool (although more of a dipping pool than a swimming pool) and bar was a haven with a wonderful view. The room was spacious, clean and tidy and spare towels provided at roof top pool and spa. I also enjoyed a great deep tissue massage. The hotel offers everything you need and felt a real treat. It's a bit out.of the main hub-bub of Split (about 25 mins walk) so as long as this is what you want then perfect.. thoroughly recommend."

"We stayed there for 2 nights and it was great. The staff were super helpful. We had an early morning boat trip planned and they gave us breakfast to go based on our diet restrictions. It was across the street from this fun beach and the restaurant was delicious. Also a short uber ride from old town split. Definitely recommend!"

"Checkin was really simple. Host was very quick to reply to all of my messages and even helped me with my luggage on my last day which was really helpful. Room was very clean. Fridge, kettle and hairdryer in the room. The apartment was 30 minute walk from Split centre (up and downhill), and 20 minute walk from znjan beach (there is a side gate for direct access down to the beach, although quite a lot of steps). Unfortunately I booked a last minute trip just days before and I chose the room without balcony thinking it had a terrace, my fault for not looking properly. However it didnt come with any outdoor space or a decent view (our room looked out onto cars and the pathway). The hospitals helipad is literally next door to the apartment and my partner was woken up multiple times everynight by the noise. So i would recommend taking ear plugs or speak to the host and find a room on the other side of the building to reduce noise. Theres no welcome tea and coffee in the room but that wasnt an issue for me as we dont drink it, but its something to be aware of. The last point I would like to mention was that our fridge was never cold, we restarted it and made sure it was on max power but our drinks always felt a bit warm. I didnt mention this to the host as we were out from morning til night time, I have informed them now so it should be sorted soon. I would stay here again but book a better room as the host was really helpful and location was good."
