Really nice hotel once we got there as the addres derails provided by Expedia is not correct-- again another hotel booking we made thar suggested hotel shuttle which was not the case we had to pay for a cab... to the airport afterwards

I purposely chose this place as a closer hotel location rather than staying near the bell tower to be closer distance drive to the terracotta warriors and it was the best hotel I booked through my whole stay in China. Robin was my concierge who provided great communication throughout my stay there. He helped arrange transportation pick up from train station to hotel and back. During my stay he also provided recommendations around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious and hotel was clean. The red room which I had hotel room at thanks to Expedia was super exclusive to included happy hour that the tapas style food and drinks left us full.

Over priced as heck, beautiful but if you looked too closely it wasn’t that clean. Every single thing is a new charge, over priced and seriously undervalued. Would recommend other families stay at somewhere like the Hilton, where they don’t charge an arm and a leg for every thing. Right down to charging per item of clothing washed - at the Hilton it was free / included. Staff were significantly more helpful and helped us to our room at the Hilton, they were rude and condescending at the W. The breakfast is charged per day, not per stay. We were charged to use the pool, and the gym - considering the price of the stay it has been included at every other hotel on our trip. The outdoor pool isn’t open until 2pm, and the gym / indoor pool are only open from 8am - a 24 hour gym would be appropriate- and has been the situation in every other hotel.
