worst experience ever
Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. I've travelled to over 120 countries and stayed in more hotels then I can count but this was the worst. I booked a room and when I arrived to the area of the hotel I could not find it. I called the hotel and noone spoke english so I asked my Chinese friend to speak to them. My Chinese friend spoke to them to ask for directions but the hotel staff kept repeating 'no no we have no foreigners booked here, we don't speak english and we don't accept foreigner bookings, chinese only, no no'. This is despite the fact I had a confirmed booking with hotels.com. absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional hotel. I tried calling through my Chinese friend 3 or 4 times to get directions so I could go and show them the booking confirmation but they refused to give the directions even in chinese. Eventually it was getting late so I booked into hotel rebecca who were incredibly professional. Never EVER book with this Ru Xuan hotel. A total bunch of amateur clowns!
