Excellent staff, very convenient location. The breakfast was excellent. It gets very hot and the rooms get really warm and tends to be noisy due to the public playgrounds nearby. On a Friday night there was a party going on close by not on the hotel premises and the Loud noise went on from 10pm to 5am.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and a great onsite restaurant. We loved the location, the exceptional decor and the delicious breakfast. I was disappointed in the size of the bathroom, the lack of air conditioning, the lack of robes, and a few interactions with staff. Most of the staff was fantastic and really took pride in their job. The overall experience was good, but my expectations were greater

It was just perfect vacation. Hotel located 2 minutes of walk from train station. The staff was very kind and breakfast was excellent. Hotel is in the Main Street and lots of good restaurants and shopping. I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel and loved Swiss hospitality Hotel has also one of the best sauna facility.

We arrived at the railway station in Zermatt quite late and found it dark, to discover a town wide power cut. Staff were very considerate and fortunately the hotel had its own emergency generator. My wife has limited mobility, and whilst she had to make her own way to the third floor, one of the reception staff carried our luggage up for us. Excellent room with view of the Matterhorn, fabulous breakfast, and close proximity to the railway station.

Beautiful & well designed room. Nice terrace bar. Staff was very helpful. Our room was on Bahnhofstrasse so a tad noisy ( narrow street that echos noise well ) but it had a peekaboo view of the Matterhorn so it can’t be helped. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Didn’t try the restaurant for dinner. Very conveniently located.

wonderful hotel

Stayed for two nights and needed to switch rooms after the first night because we stayed in an attic type room with low ceilings which was not for someone tall like myself. But they were very accommodating and helpful in moving our luggage to the new room when we were out visiting the Matterhorn. When booking the room, you are listed with them at a certain price, I needed to pay an upgrade fee to get a room on the higher floor with a view of the Matterhorn but it was worth it.

Marvellous stay!

Have no regret to booked myself a solo trip for 2 nights in this marvellous hotel. Great front desk staffs at welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable with nice Mountain View. Perfect location with less than 150m from the train station and surrounded with lots of shops. Hotel facilities (gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room) are great especially on the rainy which I could not do much activities out door. Well, if the opening time for these facilities can be extended till 10pm, will be better. Overall I will say that I have great time here.

Absolutely the best hotel! The location and views of the Matterhorn were spectacular. The room was beautiful, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had incredible homemade pastries, granolas, and more. We would not stay anywhere else now that we have experienced the Schweizerhof Zermatt!!

Loved this hotel from the check agent, room cleanness, excellent housekeeping staff always greeting you with a smile, restaurant at night, the DJ in the lobby, nice bar staff and supervisor to the modern and chic hotel. Well located and convenient. Can’t wait to plan a new vacation there. Only negative is the spa gentleman very rude.

Staff is top notch. Loved the ambiance and charm of the Swiss chalet. We upgraded our room to the have an amazing view of the Matterhorn. The amenities were top notch(e.g. Dyson hair dryer, iPad controls for the room). The hotel is designed without A/C to take advantage of the mountain air. The location is convenient to the train station ( 2 minute walk) and the restaurant is great (DJ played music while we had dinner). Not enough space to go on and on
