Came here on our honeymoon and wow did the staff make you feel like family and welcome. We got there and talked to the woman at the desk about our plans and she helped us reroute our trip to a way that made way more sense ! Woke up the next morning and she had a whole map highlighted and ready to go for us. We can’t wait to come back and visit. Truly phoenix hotel was amazing to us.

We stayed at Phoenix Hotel for two nights. It’s conveniently positioned but in a very quiet area. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The staff were v friendly and a highlight was the breakfast which was fresh and generous! Overall a great place to stay when in Zermatt!

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel Phoenix during a quick jaunt to Zermatt. The rooms are clean, comfortable and all have a nice balcony. The hotel owners and staff were very helpful with suggestions for excellent trail running loops. Breakfast includes a full spread.

Perfect location for skiing and sightseeing

Perfect location with stunning view of the Matterhorn. Proverbial "Swiss Cleanliness and Efficiency". Located a short walk to lifts and near the center of the village. Excellent breakfast with local delicacies. Very friendly and helpful staff.

delicious breakfast with many choices of cheese and bread, hot soup, ham etc. spacious room can see matterhorn sunrise. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff was very nice and helpful.

Nice stay in Zermatt

Jolander from the hotel had helped to make this trip perfect for us. Our train to Zermatt was delayed and it would pass the hotel check in window and we would miss the taxi to go to the hotel. Jolander had helped us secure the taxi so that we could safely get to the hotel from the train station and she waited for us to do our check in. Jolander was also very kind to provide us with details and maps on how to get to the attractions. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the centre of the city. The room is nicely set up for travellers and we had a veranda that we could sit and enjoyed our tea. Varieties of food offered for breakfast was not a lot but it is more than sufficient for us. I was really impressed with the cheese table and the selection of cheeses. The restaurant manager had done a great job to make sure all guests would have a right spot to enjoy breakfast. The boiled egg was also perfect that it was hot and yolk was still soft. Perfect for me. Probably the only thing I could ask for more was the bathroom. The shower space was really tiny and I had to be careful not to bump onto the glasses. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

The desk staff was extremely helpful (ie power converter, 2 extra pillows, dinner choices) breakfast included. One think to remember going to and from Zermatt- gas vehicles such as private coach can only reach to town south of Zermatt, Tasch. So when leaving you need to talk the train 1 stop to reach your connection. Hotel was great
