There’s a good spread of breakfast which was filling and helped jumpstart the day. The room we were in had a stunning view of the Matterhorn. It was a great stay the four nights were there. Would definitely stay there again if and when we come back to the area.
What a magical experience it was to see the Matterhorn from our window.

Our room had a balcony overlooking Matterhorn and River, breakfast was good, dinner there is also good, had special price for people staying at hotel. Close to everything.

A comfortable stay; good beds/bedding. Shower in room 3 bathroom is a little odd; need to be able to take a big step in/out and shower head is awkward to work with. Still workable!! Breakfast was nice; breakfast lady…..lovely! Convenient opportunity to checkin and checkout online. Ate a light dinner in the restaurant. Would have had to pay for water; I think not!!!

Unobstructed view of the Matterhorn from our balcony, and bed! Room was small but was fine. Breakfast was nice in a lovely cozy dining room. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent.

Phenomenal location in Zermatt! The staff was so nice and allowed us to store our bags. All hotel guests get a discount at their restaurant which was delicious. Room had a matterhorn view which I wasn’t expecting and had a lovely balcony. Rooms came with slippers, coffee, etc. Only complaint was that the bedside lights weren’t plugged in and was hard to work. Would stay here again!

I loved this hotel! The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful - it felt as though I was part of a family! And the location is right by a bus stop, which saves a lot on taxi fares, though it’s a very short walk to all the activity. And I had an amazing view of the Matterhorn and overlooked the river and the picturesque original houses.

We spent three nights at Hotel Restaurant Le Mazot Zermatt and really enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable with huge balcony where we could view the golden top of Matterhorn. A sweet and cozy spot to relax after exploring Matterhorn!

Fantastic stay! The staff were really welcoming and the breakfast was great. They even went out of their way to cater to our dietary requirements which we really appreciated. We stayed in a double room which was spacious and comfortable. Our only negative was that the floors weren’t very clean, there was hair everywhere.

Great location from our room we could not see the Mattahorn, but within 20 steps of the front door there is a wonderful view. The room was clean and had everything we expected. Shared bathroom just across the hall was not a problem at all very clean. Walking distance to Train stations, and all of the shops.

We LOVED the balcony in our room (#4). It's a huge balcony that overlooks 3 different sides of the building plus you can see Matterhorn. The room itself had nice amenities. We did move the balcony table and chairs into our room so that we could use our laptops a little easier. Breakfast was a perfect start to each day. We enjoyed the friendly host that chatted with us and made us feel at home. We highly recommend staying at Le Mazot.

Great location! It takes less than a minute to reach the exact spot where you can enjoy the stunning view shown in the attached photo. If you're up for a little adventure, step outside around 5 a.m. or 10 p.m. In early June—you may just catch the full majesty of the Matterhorn in all its quiet beauty. The hotel itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, with warm-toned wooden interiors that make you feel right at home. The room was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable—just what you want after a day of exploring. The attached restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and casual charm, making it a great spot to unwind. And don’t miss breakfast—it’s served in a separate room with a lovely view of the nearby river. A peaceful way to start the day!

The hotel does not have a reception area and arrival information was sketchy. We were emailed instructions on how to enter the premises, but had not retrieved the email prior to arrival. This should be better communicated well in advance. The room was comfortable and the location is great. Breakfast was included and is adequate. There was some work being done to the hotel.

Avoid this hotel if you can. It has a great location but sadly that's all it has to offer. WiFi is very bad. Disconnects every 5 mins. There is 1 shared bathroom for 5 rooms, so you have to fight for the spot. Also, the room has kettle and coffee machine but there's no way to plug it. Room with double bed has very little space. If you have 2 full size luggage, you can't open them. There is no staff after 3 pm so any problem, you are on your own. It's just too expensive for what it has to offer with too many missing things.
