Wonderful and warm stay

Rooms were sufficient. Nice bathtub. Strong and warm shower. Beds were comfy but pillows too soft for my liking. Balcony was nice. But 2 most important points. First, the owner Marianne was a perfect host. Very helpful, accomodating, friendly and approachable. She made the stay into a 5-star holiday. Second, the buffet breakfast provided was very homely. Small set up but you have breads, spreads, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, ham, mushrooms, hot drinks, juices, cereals, fruits. Didnt expect the breakfast spread to be so comprehensive. Shows how thoughtful the hotel is towards its guests!

Elite is a small nice hotel, conveniently placed in the middle of Zermatt. Walking distance from Bahnhof is short, and ski bus to different starting points is just around the corner. Breakfast was a disappointment, and also the view of mountains. I booked a room with view, but it wasn't worth the extra money spent.

Ideal location

Excellent location for everything - pubs, restaurants, clubs even ski slopes are not too far away - easy bus ride to either Gornergrat Bahn or the Matterhorn Express. The staff are very friendly. I would go back. I loved the jacuzzi in our room.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel elite zermat. The bathroom was big and the breakfast was sufficient. We got a little worried that we were going to miss our train because we left our luggage after the checkout but there was no front desk when we were about to get back our luggage. Good thing, there was a number we could call to help us with our luggages

Had a nice stay the room was great but the place is a bit old and rough around the edges. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast which was included so that was a big plus. However the pillows were terrible like a piece of cardboard with a sheet over it.

Clean and good size rooms. Friendly staff accommodating us with breakfast for early departure. One negative, we had rooms 105 and 205 with windows right above the entrance of the bar. The noise of people coming and going kept us awake. The bar did not close until 2 am. Ask for a different room.

Nice budget hotel

I only stayed 1 night but I was very happy at the price I paid. The hotel is in a great location only 10 minutes walk from the station and right in the centre of the village. My single room was very basic but nice and clean and the continental buffet breakfast was sufficient. Staff were friendly and the WIFI was excellent but the highlight was looking up at the Matterhorn from my window and balcony.
