"Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely."

"Good location. Walking distance to amenities. Modern, well-stocked with dishes. AC was nice as it was warm when we stayed. A few things could be improved: doors squeak, pots and pans old and should be replaced, stove old and probably past date, family bath had one broken towel bar, lack of bathroom counter space. I suggest that at these prices, there should be cable or satellite. Overall, we were satisfied."

"We felt like we were in the treetops, and never tired of the view from the balcony. We loved the ginormous TV in the living room for watching the Olympics in the evening. Our one suggestion is to have a table that can be expanded to fit a larger group than four people, but we made it work. We would definitely select this property again for a return trip!"

"We had a great stay. The check in process was difficult. We could only get into our unit because the house cleaner was still there and could help us with the code. There was a couple there with us, trying to get into their unit and their lock had to be recoded. Phone calls were needed. Our AC didn't work. Otherwise nice place and near beaches and sightseeing places. A bit loud at night as near street."

"This home provided my family with a great summer getaway! The neighborhood is lovely and very friendly. There are nearby hiking trails and beautiful views. It's a short drive to the lake and to the restaurants in Incline Village. The house is very clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!"

"This place is located at the great location near the lake. It is also very close to shopping area. We did not stay at the room that was advertised but in the room in the back behind the construction site. The room is very small and there were pieces of food stack to the carpet and near the fridge. No one came to clean it. No one responded to my VRBO request. I went to the office to check out , it was open but no one at the desk. "Great place to stay on the South East Side of the lake! We had 10 people and although it says only sleeps 8 with the bed set ups there are several pull out couches that can be used. I know there were a lot of reviews saying they got noise complaints. We had 10 mid 20s people staying and we just introduced ourselves to the surrounding neighbors and let them know if we get too loud just to come let us know.the neighbors were great and very pleasant. We never got any complaints."
