"Pros: Location and appartment were ideal for us two. And Juan and his wife were most friendly, welcoming and discreet, the perfect hosts. I’d highly recommend the place for anyone who wants to enjoy Barbate, its beach, and the ruta del atún and the feria Cons: First night the music from the Feria could be heard from anywhere in town. Not much one can do about it but it’s something to consider"

"Pros: El espacio verde alrededor de los apartamentos era ideal para que los niños jugarán junto con la piscina. Noelia, la anfitriona, nos lo hizo todo super fácil, siempre pendiente de lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Nos sentimos como en casa. Cerca de Vejer, Barbate, Conil...pero lo suficientemente alejados de los cascos urbanos y el bullicio para poder descansar. Un acierto sin duda. Cons: El poco respeto de otros inquilinos por las instalaciones y mantener el espacio limpio."

"Had a fantastic stay. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Fabulous breakfast in the hotel restaurant and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. One even drove with me to get me settled in the parking lot associated with the hotel. I probably wouldn’t have found it otherwise even though it is only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend staying here. Loved Tarifa as well. The relaxed beach vibe was exactly what I needed"

"The hotel's location was fantastic—very central yet surprisingly quiet at night. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having coffee, tea, and water provided in the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The only downside was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains. We have encountered this issue at other hotels where a solution was found, but unfortunately, the bathroom fragrances provided here did little to mask it. I would not hesitate to stay here again if the drainage odor were addressed, as otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay."

"Overall amazing experience. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful particularly Dani. He made us feel very welcome. Restaurant serves amazing food at reasonable prices. There is a small shop for amenities. Churreria was a lovely surprise for the breakfast. Furniture inside and outside the accommodation needs regular cleaning. Beds, pillows and linen was very clean and comfortable. Communal bath rooms were clean but no hand soup. There was a srench in the toilet area probably due to drains issue. Highly recommend the experience"

"We love Meson de Sancho. We were so happy with our upgraded room with a balcony. The room was clean, large and well-equipped. The bed and pillows are so comfy. The TV is large. The staff was really friendly and helpful especially Miguel. The property is gorgeous with many mature trees, flowers and birds. The pool is large and refreshing. There are many lovely sitting areas both inside and outdoors. The parking is free on site. You can park on the other side of the road and take the tunnel under the highway to the hotel safely. The breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of variety. This is our fourth hotel so far in Spain and our favourite. We want to come back next season and stay for a week."
