"We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away.
