"I loved my stay at Lake Safari Lodge. The rooms were very comfortable with a nice seating area outside with great views of the lake. The grounds are beautiful- full of flowers and trees and with lots of seating from where you can admire different views of the lake. The view from the infinity pool is stunning. Lovely buffet breakfast with a great selection - the fruit platter is a work of art ! But most of all it was the friendliness of the staff which made my stay. From the owner to the waiting staff everyone made me feel welcome which is particularly appreciated when you are a solo traveller. Thank you all . "

"The property had a beautiful view from the top apartment. The female host was very welcoming. However, from being shown around the accomodation it was clearly not as described or in a fit condition to host guests. There was a large hole in the ceiling presumably from a roof leak, it was furnished very sparsely and dated. The host explained that the kitchen cupboards were pulled out as they were being treated for termites! All around the kitchen was powder treating the termite problem. The kitchen units had multiple electrical power Extensions full of adaptors which we viewed as unsafe. The property was a challenge to find as the whole area is called ,"Breezes" and GPS took us to incorrect location. We eventually located the property much further along the road and up a steep gradient of what was left of a road with huge potholes. We only had a small hire car and were very worried about damage to the car on this piece of road to the property. The host confirmed there was no other way to get to her property. The host gave us her phone number as her contact. She also informed us that phone signal had been down for couple days. On leaving the property after 10mins looking, we then decided not to stay even one night due to our serious concerns. We tried to phone the host on the number she provided only to realise she had missed out one digit when she typed her number into my phone. We were not about to risk driving the treacherous piece of road back to the property to inform her. "

"September 2024. What a wonderful gem of a place! I was impressed with the beautiful rooms, and the incredible self-catering utilities available to us. The host who greeted me on my arrival was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. The property is very safe and secure with locked gate, and undercover parking, so my vehicle was out of the hot sun! Stunning views of the sunset over Lake Kariba, and a beautiful, clean swimming pool. What I particularly appreciated was that one could also access the communal lounge, dining area, and kitchen through an internal locked door leading from the room. The huge kitchen was spotless and had everything you need for cooking, cleaning, etc. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"We stayed here as a recovery from a road trip around Zambia and it was perfect. They are very customer service oriented. The large open space was perfect for relaxing on the couch with a view of the lake, a snack or sip in the pool. There was always someone around to get you anything you wanted. I’d stay here again. "
