Modern rooms, ocean View, lovely people, incredible breakfast & Dinner at your rooms or rooftop, free snorkle Kits and informations - everything was perfect, we had the best time!
The staff - especially the lady who picked us up from rhe ferry terminal and the lady who dropped us back there - were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. There is exceptionally good snorkelling a short walk away.
Akajima is amazing for diving and snorkeling. There is not much else to do on the island but if that is your goal, the Blue Suites is the best place to stay with it's little pool and pretty view. The gourmet meals are amazing.
Great beachfront place. Three rooms so it’s quiet and private. Has a pool with a beautiful beach across the street. They serve an American style breakfast and course style dinner. Food was delicious! Highly recommend if you’re ever ok Aka!
We took a shot in the dark with booking, as we have never been to Japan and didn’t really know anything about Aka. We were BEYOND surprised with this stay. Absolutely amazing. Food wonderful, location perfect, cleanliness 10\10, sunset views insane. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. Thank you!
We had a wondeful stay and i look forward to going back soon. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Thw staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner were always delicious and perfectly cooked. The island was perfect and the beach was close to the hotel. The owner was nice to talk to and we enjoyed every moment there. I wish we stayed longer . Thank you
The hosts were very accommodating and helpful all around. Meals provided were delicious and plentiful. I requested 2 more pillows due to my pregnancy comforts and it provided upon arrival. These accommodations are directly facing the beach, great location. The owners were promptly at the boat terminal to pick us up. So many great things about this place and I would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing yet adventurous ( snorkeling, water activities) stay.
We were well taken care of during our stay. Room was great and the views were phenomenal. Breakfast and dinner were provided and served to us on the patio in front of our room. The food served was very tasty and unique. There is also a happy hour in which drinks (beer/wine) were served to our patio. Snorkeling gear and wet suit were also provided. They will also pick up/drop off at ferry port. The entire trip felt like a special and customized experience. Highly recommend and would love to return one day
Fantastic view of the sea from the bedroom terrace. We even saw deer walking by.
Dinner and breakfast were ample and delicious. Free very delicious wine and beer served with dinner too!
We hired a motorbike to visit all the view points and other island which was great.
The friendly owners lent us masks and snorkel and wet suit (march - cold sea) and took us to the best snorkeling beach.we saw a turtle as soon as we entered the water.
There are a couple of lunch options. One super delicious sashimi and the other an Italian Japanese restaurants, where they serve excellent fried chicken.
Thank you for an excellent stay.

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The property was lovely and the food delicious. Akajima is a stunningly beautiful island. We had a wonderful, exciting, romantic vacation here. We plan to return when we get another opportunity.
The owner is amazing! They are so helpful. This is the most enjoyable stay I've ever had in Japan by far. There is no TV or wifi but you don't need it. The food is great. Drinks are ever flowing. The view is fantastic.
The comfort is clearly not at the expected level for the price category even if the owners are showing that they are ready to provide some service.
Example: relaxing chairs are not suitable if your size is more than 170cm. Some comfortable seats on the roof are also missing. (Also noisy A/C in the room)
Example: cooking spaghetti or rice is something I can do at home. On sea side, I would expect sea products or local specialty...
Example: you need to walk under the sun at the other side of the village to rent a bicycle everyday. Proposing bicycles would definitely add value for the guests.
