Room was clean and spacious. The hotel has a specific design and lighting, which I personally don't like. It's very dark hotel with only few spotlights, which are not lighting up the room properly.

Great bed, sheets and pillows. Endless hot water and really good water pressure. The room is dated and carpeted but clean. Big busy hotel in a nice location in Zagreb. You can walk to everything. We didn’t have breakfast.

The place was very clean. It was very central and warm, important for a stay in December! There is air-conditioning but we didn't use it.

Being a walker, I thought it would be difficult to get around Zagreb but it wasn't. Everything is so close together, walking around it was easy. Such a vibrant city and so busy with lots to see. Just loved the Cathedral.
Make the effort to go to Mimara museum near Roosevelt square. Excellent collection. Some museums aren’t obvious with the entry - very little or no signs out the front. Eg Mestrovic Atelier. Be persistent.
Great place to visit, lovely city, plenty to do, safe and clean
most shops closed on Sunday; walkable to many attractions; beware of taxi prices; lively and welcoming city; attractions and directions well signed; friendly people
Zagreb has grown into a vibrant city, definitely worthy of a look for your next holiday.
