The location is perfect in the heart of Zagreb. We stayed overnight because of travel. However, it's in the ideal location to wander in the city without an issue. I highly recommend for the cost, since others are highly marked up. Definitely a family-friendly hotel.

Cozy but not without it's issues

Room was spacious but shower was tight and smelly, moving around meant accidentally turning it off or adjusting the settings. The 2 twins pushed against each other to form a pseudo queen didn't work well as it meant 2 solid beams in the middle of the bed. As a couple this wasn't ideal. Although short, multiple power cuts during our stay and a flickering light.

The best hotel while in Zagreb

I had excellent experience in every meaning of the word. Clean and comfortable room, tasty buffet breakfast. And amazing employees who are available all the time.

The web description did not mention that the hotel is on the 1st floor and there was no lift. We, both above 70 yrs, had to carry two heavy suitcases up 18 stairs to checkin on arrival at 1am without any help. The room was clean but very small and cramped, with no space to open the suitcases. The toilet, shower and wash basin were all crammed into a 4 ft by 5 ft space. Drinking water is from the tap in the bathroom. No parking space. Overall, a bad, expensive experience.

Review of Art Hotel This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. The hotel is located right in the middle of a busy tram intersection, and the constant noise is unbearable. Every 10 minutes or so, a tram passes by, shaking and rattling the entire building — including the rooms. Sleeping was nearly impossible, especially with the uncomfortable bed. Getting into the hotel is also a hassle. You walk through a dark alley, climb 20–30 narrow steps just to reach the lobby, then another steep set of stairs to get to the room. My room was a cramped attic space with a ceiling so low that you can only stand in the center without hitting your head. The air was damp, and the air conditioner made a loud rattling noise whenever it was on. The only positives: the staff were friendly, the location is close to the city center, and breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, none of that makes up for the constant noise, shaking, and overall discomfort. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a restful stay.

Good location

There is no reception desk at this hotel, so you need to WhatsApp to get the key safe code. There is also no breakfats despite being called a 'B&B'. However we did find it clean and good value, plus in a good location walking distance from the centre of town.

No lifts, so be aware of that. You will have to carry your bags up at least one flight of stairs. Otherwise great. In a busy-ish central area, close to trams, so there is a potential for noise, but it was not noticeable in the room I had.

This is a beautiful old building above a shop on the corner of a busy road. We had a room overlooking the road with a little balcony as well as two large windows. The room was large, light and airy, yet the curtains were really good at blocking the morning light out and with the windows shut the traffic noise was surprisingly minimal. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. There was plenty of hot water for showering and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. All the shops and bars were a short walk away. We hired a car from the airport and parked in the underground carpark below a petrol station virtually opposite the hotel. Take a ticket on entering and then take it to the man in the office on floor -1 to swap it for a 24 hour ticket for 13euros - all very easy. A pretty city with great nightlife.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, queda cerca de la catedral y varias tiendas de souvenir, tiene una mercado en la esquina. Lo único que debes subir un piso con las maletas, no tienen ascensor.

I chose this property because it was near a tram interchange for ease of transit access. The flipside of this is that there was a constant rumbling of trams going by. But I didn’t find it bothersome. Everything else about the hotel is good.

The pictures don’t reflect the actual property. My room had no window beside a very small one on the ceiling which it was even closed. I never booked a room without window and that was not stated in the description! 140 euro for this room it’s an insane price! Stay away from this place…I don’t even want to mention the noise of the tram coming from outside…

Great location, but that is it. Hotel reception are on first floor and no elevator. Then most rooms are one more floor up. Hotel are located next to a road with trolleys that are turning. They noice from the trolleys are so loud that not even ear plugs works to keep the noice out. Besides that, the building is moving when the trolleys passes by. No way to park you car outside to load on/off

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property was situated near many areas for tourists such as parks, the main square, the church (unfortunately under construction). The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The room was very clean, i had a great view out the window. The only negative (not for me) is the tram runs right alongside the building. They provide earplugs in the room, so dont freak out unless you didnt do your research. It wasnt that loud and i slept fine without the earplugs. Another bonus was the AC was pretty decent (cold) which during the summer in this region is not common. I would absolutely come back here!

The stay was okay. The room was spacious and affordable for what it was. The cleanliness was fine. There were dusty surfaces and some dust bunnies that I think could have easily been cleaned up. In our room, you could easily hear the tram from outside and it felt like it shook the walls - it was fine for the one night we were staying.
