"A convenient and affordable stop on the way to Tahoe. Quaint lodge in a lovely natural setting. The roooms are small a little dated; carpet could be cleaned or replaced. But the bed was comfortable and the shower huge with good water pressure. The breakfast (paid) at the restaurant was very good. ..."

I’ll definitely stay again someday!
"Was expecting a quiet, boring night but the old fashioned hotel bar was lively with interesting people so I enjoyed the fun! It’s not a vibe for young children maybe but perfect t for me as a solo traveler to meet friends. I’ll definitely stay again someday!"

Wonderful lodge - can be totally empty off season
"I was not expecting to see not a single soul during my entire stay. If I appreciate the simple check in process, it would have been nice to get a real person to talk to get the basic infos on the way around. "The house was a perfect way to show East coast relatives California. The space easily accommodated 7 adults (3 couples 1 and a 1-year old. The kitchen was spectacular - made it easy to prepare meals. Hosts graciously allowed us to use paddle boards and kayaks. We had a terrific time."
