Its super close to big attractions like skogafoss and Dyrholaey Beach. There is a restaurant right across the street that is incredibly convenient. "My daughter and I stayed here 2 nights. While the place was very clean, that is about the only high praise I can give it. The room was sparsely furnished and gave off a dorm room vibe. There were very few amenities - each bed had only 1 pillow, so I had to ask for an additional pillow for each of us. No fridge in the room or even a safe for our passports. My daughter found her bed very uncomfortable the second night, and realized in the middle of the night that housekeeping had flipped her mattress so that the pillow top side was facing the floor, and she was lying on the coil side. Why anyone would do that is beyond me, but it happened. If this place were a bargain I'd rate it higher, but it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in while in Iceland, so I'm giving it only 3 stars."
