We are a family of four visiting from the USA and wanted to see the WWI sites and observe the Last Post at Menin Gate. This served as a perfect location for us. Also, we enjoyed the amazing beer in Ypres, all within 5-10 min walk. Martins Guesthouse is modern, spacious, and for us Americans it has A/C on two floors. The third floor where the bedrooms were did not have A/C but we managed just fine and slept well. Also, Ina and Joost were awesome to meet and show us the place when we arrived. It has everything we could have wanted. Overall, we strongly recommend this place!
