"Wonderful accommodation and hosts, ideal for a trip to Ypres. Easy walking distance to the Yorkshire Trench. Ypres is only a couple of miles down the road. Our hosts were fantastic and the breakfast plentiful. Expansive views over the surrounding area. Very much recommended."
"We had the most enjoyable stay in Ypres in this beautiful home. The host was fantastic and so helpful. We were so grateful to be invited to be part of the Menin Gate ceremony marking the 96th year of the sounding of the last post, a memory that will stay with us forever."

"The staff was excellent and very helpful and kind
The breakfast was great and the room was clean
Only issue was that there was no air conditioning but they provided a fan
We recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place"

A lovely town which has been unfortunately defined by the Great War. Great buildings and architecture with plenty of walks. There are many war cemeteries around and there is the nighly last post ceremony at the Menin Gate.

Ypres is a must do location for anyone wanting to visit the western front. There is so much to do and see in the immediate area, as well as the deeply moving last post ceremony at the Menin Gate each evening at 8pm.

Ypres an interesting place, the town is made to look old but is not as it was totally flattened during the Great War, but still nice. Would recommend Patrick from 2Xplore for a flanders fields and battlefield tour, amazing man with lots of knowledge

Bijou to say the least but to visit the Menin Gate was amazing & hear the last post. Check if the renovations are complete as it was completely covered in scaffold when we visited

There are so many tourist attractions within walking distance of the hotel. The Flanders Field museum and Cathedral are only a 5 minute stroll away. I spent one night in Ypres but needed another 2 days. Would recommend booking a Battlefield Tour.

"We stayed here for 1 night and were really pleased to have chosen the Novotel. Not sure if it has recently been refurbished or not but our room was in excellent condition, very clean and modern. Ideally located for local restaurants and of course the Menin Gate daily rememberance."
"This is a funky fun hostel type hotel. Rooms have unusual and u comfortable furniture - I think it’s to encourage you to enjoy their neighborhood like lobby with a wine shops various food options and a sense of fun. Definitely would be attractive to younger folks. Typical European room with double bed and enclosed bunks beds. "
"We really appreciated the early check-in and the service throughout was excellent. We also really enjoyed breakfast which had lots of options. We are looking forward to staying at their Paris branch again next month. "
"We only booked a one night stay over on our way to our holiday destination. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. There was a great play area for the children- it felt like a friendly community area. We would have been very happy to stay there several days and will definitely book again. "
