I stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful with directions and places to go eat. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. I am use to a space within the hotel to eat. Breakfast was served in a brown bag. It had juice and a danish in it. If I ever had a need to stay in this area again, I would stay here. Good value for the money.

The room was dirty and poorly maintained. Drywall tape was peeling off the ceiling where drywall had been repaired. We supposedly had a non-smoking room which smelled of cigarettes. The furnishings were a hodgepodge that appeared to be purchased at tag sales. We wore our shoes to avoid sticking to the bathroom floor. We could not wait to leave.

This is an older property, but is exactly what was needed: comfortable bed, hot shower, plenty of clear cable channels with a ton of sports. If I find myself, again, in Niles OH, I wouldn’t hesitate in booking again

This hotel is a bit dated but for the price you can't beat it in the area. Anything else and the price range is not worth the risk to your health to stay in. This place was clean well taken care of and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will be staying here yearly when I come to Niles Ohio.

There was a one inch hole in the ceiling above the shower. The air conditioner didn't work in 90° weather. Had this not been a late check in I would have turned around and walked away. Also, if you list one of your amenities as a "free breakfast" one should at least expect a continental style with maybe some fruit, muffins, yogurt, coffee, etc. When I asked about breakfast, the night clerk said it would be in the check in building...he even showed me the counter that looked like a simple food service area. When I went there in the morning there was coffee and...I'm not kidding here, a paper sack with a stale cinnamon roll, a flavorless chewy granola bar and a "mixed juice". I don't expect much but I'd rather not have a dollar store "breakfast". The man at the counter was rude and said "one bag per room"...for three people. This wasn't a cheap hotel by most standards but it definitely felt like every possible corner was cut here.

Overall the stay was good. However, for a handicapped person staying on the 2nd floor with no elevator available was challenging. The sitting chair had a wheel missing. Unable to use. It was mentioned to staff, but no response. For those guest like my husband and I who has a late evening flight the opportinity to have a later checkout time would be helpful. Some hotels charge an additional fee. Normally half price of daily room rate. And some hotels, have a holding space, at no charge, if guest just wish to store their luggage until leaving.

Parking was easy but the lot had many potholes. The furnace was very noisy and could not get hot water in the shower--only hot water was in the sink. Was not told of any amenities and did not see any. The facility was old but looks like rooms were updated. The room was comfortable but overall we felt like we overpaid for our stay.

The photos online don’t match the feel of the current establishment. The lobby looked run down, but the staff was pleasant. I hoped our room would be ok, but it wasn’t. There’s a sense of being in the movie ‘The Shining’ as you walk down the hall. When we entered our room, the smell of vomit was in the air. Within seconds we left and asked for our money back. Later, my sister said ‘that’s where the junkies hang out… and they just tear-gassed someone out of their room’. Also,I believe their breakfast service is simply food in a bag at the front desk. Hard pass. We returned to our favorite Holiday Inn Suites just down the road, and paid the extra money we were trying to save.
