Excellent base to visit York. A pleasant 30 minute walk along the river into York. Property was very clean and warm. Owner very attentive. Kindly left milk, tea, coffee and biscuits which we were grateful for.

Great little getaway

What a lovely place to stay. The cottage was immaculate and had great facilities. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the owner left tea, coffee, biscuits and even a pint of milk in the fridge; very welcome after a long journey. The location is brilliant - not far from the town centre, outlet village, river and it was on a bus route. would highly recommend this cottage.
