This little motor Inn was very clean, comfort beds, the owner was super nice, and I really liked the fact that they had cameras surrounding the property so we felt very safe staying here! Will definitely stay there again!

I had a lovely two night stay. The sign was a little hard to see so I had to go past and turn around. Check in was a little tedious, but I travel alone and don’t mind having the hosts outline their expectations. This is not a chain. It is a well run immaculate older motel. Very very clean. My two minor complaints are no hair dryer and the bed I slept in was comfortable but a bit saggy. I love the smaller sized pillows, but if you want those gigantic overstuffed pillows, bring your own.

Excellent location with view on the ocean. Easy walk to the beach and to restaurants. The pool was clean and the lawn around the property is well kept. However, the rooms are outdated and stuffy. Bedsheets are paper thin. Just be aware that the rooms with a view on the second floor are only reserved to couples not families. Check their website for more details.

The pool and rear grounds are serene, quite nice. And the room was spotless. Inn is vintage with mid century original appliances and lamps that were in perfect working order. One BIG issue for me though was the aroma- sadly. We were a corner unit at ground level and the room smelled like your grandma's house on steriods and it just smacks you in the face and doesn't go away. For just $75 more/night we could have stayed at the modern resort next door....so not a super value. But let me tell you- you've never seen a more sparkling pool than the one at this motor inn.

The owner was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable with a memory foam topper. The negative was the smell-it was extremely unpleasant, old musty smell which made staying in the room not pleasant. Also the lack of wi-fi & internet reception. The grounds were beautiful-the type of place you would want to call home. The old fashioned decor was charming and would have been totally fine if not for the smell. Maybe it's an ocean thing and all the places around there could have been the same. It was my first time staying at York beach.

Long Beach Motor Inn

Long Beach Motor Inn is a great location to enjoy the beach. The service was great and the owners are friendly and accomodating. It definitely has a nostalgic feel reminding me of vacations of my childhood. It is clean and great for a beach getaway. Gary and his wife Sue were amazing hosts. Thank you!

Gary, gets to know each guests. So he can help them better. Enjoyed are stay. My husband doesn't have long to live and this was one of his wishes, because we had good memories from our last trip here.

The walls are paper thin so don’t expect a quiet nights sleep. Clean but really old and in need of a makeover plus the bed was extremely soft and squeaky.

My best friend and I stayed at room 12, the smell in the room smelled like cat litter and it was hard to get rid of the smell and we had to turn on the a/c, it was so difficult to sleep

The room reeks of mildew, the wifi didn't work, the front desk staff was rude. The burners didn't work, the fans shake like they are going to fall of. The heat didn't work either.

The room had an awful odor that was musty and old the towels in the room were all stained with what appeared to be feces stains not just one towel but even the hand towels were stained The refrigerator in the room was very old which is fine but once we opened it the gasket for the door was covered in mold and the bottom of the door had a gooey sludge like substance all over it Both beds had long black hairs in them I am bald and my wife is blonde Both bed’s blankets were also stained as well They ask you to remove your own garbage from the room? That absolutely ridiculous for 300+ dollars a night they have security cameras everywhere that also you can watch from the TVs in the room? Very very strange I also booked the room as an ocean view room (I took that as looking out the window you could see the ocean) their idea of ocean view is if you want to walk outside of your room and walk down the sidewalk you can see the ocean I booked the room for 2 nights as a surprise to my wife and we ended up only staying the first night and leaving a day early The policy for the hotel is no refunds at all so I didn’t even attempt to get my money back because I wasn’t willing to get a discount or move rooms I just didn’t want to deal with that hassle All I can say is stay far away from The Long Beach motor inn don’t get scammed by a cheap hotel in a beautiful location trying to charge you nice hotel money I really need to bring up this smell one last time HORRIBLE

This was one of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We respect there are rules and there’s no room for not following them. We loved the retro feel of the room/motor Inn. Location cannot be beat. We will definitely be back.
