Situated close to York racecourse and the Knavesmire, my wonderful apartment cleverly sleeps six people, so perfect for larger groups and lovely families.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Parking was near impossible with the street construction. The place while older was quite clean. VRBO had the wrong key code so we were almost stuck not being able to get in. Great water pressure with shower. Place is small and worked for our family of 2 teenagers and parents but little kids would be hard as no room to run around or play. Pillows were too hard for me so I slept without one.

Really nice place for a few days stay in York. Not too far from the centre which was ideal, and had plenty of space, with all the essentials we needed. Host was very helpful and friendly which is always a great plus. Would recommend to anyone planning a York trip.

Great stay, perfect base for exploring the city and of course for the races. Only issue was check in details gave the wrong code but the owner answered straight away and gave correct code and was very friendly. Felt very welcoming and the property had everything we needed

The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car. In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels supplied. The shower works well but the position of the bathroom cabinet and hanging rails in the bed spaces could be better placed. (A mirror tile in the wall behind the bathroom sink would improve that space and hanging rails where they can be reached would be much safer). The kitchen lacked a tin opener and any small saucepans. Hopefully, that will soon be rectified. The WiFi was great once we worked out how to connect - there weren’t any helpful instructions. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend it. Diana and family of five.
The bathroom cabinet is high so you don’t hit your head but impossible to use the mirror if you’re of standard height.
A hanging space where you have to climb on the bed to reach it isnt practical. There is a more practical space it could be.
Knowing we needed this information would have been very helpful.
