"The Night Hotel is a reliable place to stay on the Upper West Side. The staff are friendly and most remember you when you come back again. It’s affordable (although over the past year prices seemed to have gone up). The rooms are clean (by a very lovely cleaning staff): the beds very comfortable and it’s a perfect environment to sleep, i.e. there is not much street noise or light that seems in. It doesn’t have a lot of extras like another hotel might have, but it has what is necessary and that’s enough. I used to stay at a lot of luxury hotels but as a former NYer who lived there for more than 20 years, a place like the Night Hotel feels more like home."

"We had a very pleasant stay at The New Yorker Hotel. The location was excellent and extremely convenient for getting around the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel and our room were clean and well maintained overall. The only issue we noticed was an unpleasant smell inside the elevators. All of the elevators we used had a similar odor, almost like the smell of towels or cleaning cloths that had not been properly washed or dried. Since everything else in the hotel felt clean and comfortable, this stood out to us and would be something worth improving. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the location, cleanliness, and service."
