"I appreciated how they gave us fresh towels for each night of our stay. I also appreciated how they asked if we would like room service between our nights. Unfortunately, the room did smell kind of moldy/mildewy so we resorted to keeping the window open while we were there. I do like the area of Nago it's in, easily walkable to some good restaurants, the ocean, and hiking."
"Excellent place for those who want to get away from the busy city's. The house was clean tidy and the host is very friendly.
The only downside (and it's only slight) is the local bus is only 4 times a day and the more frequent buses are 15-20 min walk away."

But it's spacious, and has a fully stocked kitchen and laundry, which is nice. The location is also fairly out of the way. You definitely need a car if you're staying here. Grocery store, restaurants, aquarium, etc. are all a 10 min. drive away. I have no regrets staying here, but if we came back, we would choose somewhere else,...

"Stay away. House was disgusting, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks upon arrival. We noticed ants, dead and alive, all over the house. In the shower, around the beds and all over the staircase. And to top things off we saw a live lizard in the kitchen. The WiFi also had terrible connection and would drop every 5 minutes. "Large apartment that comfortably accommodated our family of 5. Beautiful grounds. The kids loved the pool. Great location to visit Heart Rock and the Ocean Tower as well as key sights about 30 minutes away, including Churaumi Aquarium, Nakijin-jo ruins, and waterfalls in the north and near Nago. Great restaurant at the resort. A car is a necessity. "
"Staff was friendly and professional. If you are a foreigner that speaks English almost every sign I saw was translated. The amenities were on every floor and were quite convenient. There is an Izakaya on the property that serves a complimentary mixed sashimi dish if you show a room key. The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant. As we do not drive a car we did a lot of walking and took local transportation whenever possible. If you happen to stay here there are some local attractions such as Pineapple park and Fruitsland which I recommend for the kids (we enjoyed it as well). Most of what we experienced was by walking. The hotel is pretty close to the beach and the view is stunning. We did a lot of exploring by foot and found ourselves at old town Nago which led us to discover many hidden treasures.
This was a trip we will not forget. Thank you again to the staff at Phoenix Park Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable."
"We were comfortable and felt like we were right at home. During low-tide, the water recedes, but usually returns closer to the evening. The only thing I wasn't too fond about is the camera in the back was within view of the hot tub. But, I would still stay here again. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! "
