This was a great experience we were greeted as we drove up to the property by name as they were waiting for us! "A great room for a good price. It is a ryokan so expect a traditional Japanese straw floor room, however it was a much larger room than I expected. The service was great and the owner speaks very good English so communication was easy. Communal bathing (not mixed!) was a nice experience and clean area. "We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."

"The hotel was a perfect Japanese style accommodation. The hotel staff did not speak a lot of English, but we were able to make it through. The building was clean and well kept. Very few amenities and has a shared shower room. Overall a good experience."
