Nice staff, polite and professional. Building attractive, rooms good. The only thing that let it down was the cleaner didn't clean the bathroom floor. Stains, dirt. The bath was very clean, and the toulet.

Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept. Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am. I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again. Lastly, price was unbeatable.

Excellent location to this very clean hotel

Excellent location in the centre of Yeovil but still very quiet at night. Had an excellent 2 nights sleep even though one of the two matresses was quite soft. Very clean and lovely large room for the three of us. Windows that you could open right up was good as so many hotels these days you have restricted opening.

Simple, basic, good service.

I stay at the Tarrace lodge fairly frequently. It is simple, no frills, but good service and convenient location. The price is good and you get what you pay for. The down sides are thin walls and low water pressure (poor shower). For a couple of nights it is convenient and worth the money so i will continue to stay there when i come to Yeovil for work.

this is if you want cheap and cheerful then its perfect the rooms are very basic and a little outdated. the shower was more of a dribble than a shower. the rooms were clean and the staff very helpful when i had a issue on arrival

Quick book and stay

The room was lovely large and airy, good views from all 3 windows. Bathroom needs attention though and I wouldn’t use the bath as 3 chips on bath, so bacteria breeding ground, white plastic disposable cups? Perhaps use plastic reusable cup or glass.

Convenient and friendly

Attended a wedding in Crewkerne and stayed here for three days. No breakfast at the hotel, but there are grocery stores and a Wetherspoons right around the corner. Pizza Hut across the street. Good complimentary selection of instant coffee and tea, together with a kettle at the room. The standard of the building was a little bit old but perfectly decent, the room was reasonably spacious, and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff! Public transport in the area is a bit hit and miss, and it’s good to book taxis in advance if you want to be on time. I’d be happy to stay here again for future travels.

I had to phone to get into reception, my room was in a separate building, my window latch was broken so the window couldn’t lock (I was on the ground floor) and only 1 plug socket. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was decent though
