"Staff were friendly and helped to take our luggage up to our room. The lobby was very impressive with a great view. The rooms were a bit dated and old. One of the draws in the bathroom wouldn’t close unless I forced it in, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom was a good size, however the shower was small and not made for people over 5’8. Quite a bit of wear and tear on the balcony. There was a new building that was more modern but we stayed in the old one which showed signs of age. The free drinks were a nice touch. The pool and gym were great and well maintained but can get super busy. There were load of spaces in the car park and a good amount of charging ports, so super convenient. GS25 is located next to the hotel, so a good place to grab a quick snack before heading out for a road trip. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. However walls are quite thin so you can hear people talking or kids running in the hallway."

"The Shilla Jeju is a truly excellent hotel, but what impressed me most wasn’t the design or the facilities it was the staff. Every single team member was outstanding. Polite, attentive, and genuinely warm in a way that went well beyond what I’d expect. I travel often to Europe and the US and have stayed at many hotels along the way, but honestly the service here was better than anything I’ve experienced at hotels in either region. The management really should look after these people they absolutely deserve a raise. Hotels like this are only as good as the team running them, and Shilla Jeju has clearly got something special. Would happily return."

"Poolside using an umbrella in street clothes with 6 family members, only 2 swimming, we were told to stop using the umbrella. It could have been wind or it could have been not wanting non swimmers in the area. "

"The property and the lodging was so beautiful. I had many lovely drinks in the café and walked the gardens. The massage helped ease all my travel tensions. The room was perfect for starting my Korea trip. "

"My family loved the stay for an easy and quick access to the room from the lobby entrance and the elevator. They loved the cozy environment, the essential amenities, and the water view the room offers. The front desk staffers were very friendly and willing to help when I had questions and requests. The hotel seems to have been very well maintained, hence clean and neat overall. The proximity to hundreds of restaurants (including some famous restaurants) is a huge plus, which definitely saved our time. My recommendations for improvement are 1) The opening hours for the hotel cafe and the laundry room seem to be limited. Most tourists would not want to do laundry during the daytime as the laundry room hours are from 8am to 8pm. If this is because of the potential noise, I understand. 2) It would be more convenient if there were hooks on the bathroom wall or door to hang towels or clothes. 3) My family wished there had been a bidet. I believe they are used to that from their previous stays in other hotels.since it seems to have become a norm for Korean accommodation. Overall, I think it was a great value, and we would stay again. Thank you for your hospitality."

"It was a great place to stay as a family. The space was large and had a separate bedroom, a laundry machine, kitchen with utensils and was clean. There was enough parking space as well. The owner lady was also kind. There was also a large grocery store right across the street that you could walk to. I would stay here again if we visited Jeju. "
