The hotel is very spacious and has very nice gardens. The pools are heated so that is very attractive. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are spacious but show some wear. In general we had a very pleasant stay but the rooms are pricy and breakfast was not included.

The staff, everyone included were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our room was very nice, in an hacienda style keeping with a great tradition and same to the hacienda, which dates back to the 16th century. This probably the best hacienda we have stayed at. Every aspect, atmosphere, pools, restaurant and chapel exceptional and well kept. Our bed was so comfortable!!

Beautiful place and grounds. Food was mostly wrong, missing, undercooked, bland, or very inconsistent in preparation or quality, and did not reflect the relative cost. The overall staff service was also hit or miss. By the end of the stay, we did not really want to order food. The breakfast buffet was mostly good enough, but it should be for $40CAD per person. We felt that the management was really pushing the buffets, and perhaps the à la cart was being sabotaged. Typically I don’t leave reviews but this overall experience was odd.

Historic experience

This great accomodation was a little challenging to find via GPS, I was routed all the way around the property via small streets with small signs, but eventually I came upon reception. Parking is valet only (luckily I read that on the description). The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, the site is historic, vast and well-manicured. Food service is splendid and the room was perfectly fine.
