Hotel is around 10min walk to the Bell Tower line 2 station. The station is huge. It is also walking distance to the city wall where there are performances held every night (ticket required) Hotel is very clean and modern. Quite spacious too and enough to fit 4 of us (2A2primary school aged kids) comfortably together with our 2 large size luggages. We stayed in a family room. There are gym and laundry in the hotel. Hotel breakfast was great serve mainly local Chinese cuisine with a small selection on continental breakfast. There’s coffee, lots of juices, soft drinks and even red wine during breakfast. Airport transfer is available at a very reasonable price.

Central location with walking distance to shopping and attractions such as bell tower, Great Wall and night market. Staff are wonderful and very respectful. AMAZING breakfast spread from latte coffee, yogurts, fruits, salad to cold cuts and main dishes to desert. Stayed four nights and would stay here again and look for Man Xi chain for our next China visit.

The first thing to say is that this wasn't the easiest place to find, partly because there is very little English signage (not that I'm complaining about Xi'an having mainly Chinese speakers and signage, but worth remembering!) and the fact that certain websites are blocked. I couldn't access my emails to get more detail about the hotel and Google is blocked. Make sure you get an e-sim - invaluable. To find the hotel, get the airport bus/metro to the Xi'an landmark The Bell Hotel. Go to the left of the hotel (as you are facing it) and after about 100 metres, after a 7-11, a bakery and finally a watch shop, you should see a small entrance to the hotel - once you know, it's deceptively simple. The hotel itself was excellent - clean and welcoming with a great breakfast (never had so many noodles for breakfast). Once again, certain sites are blocked and the TV was impossible to decipher, but not the end of the world. I communicated with the staff through the translating apps and every one of them was very helpful - our transfer to the airport on the way back was very cheap and every one of the staff involved themself in helping. The manageress was especially kind here. Xi'an is a wonderful city - very impressed with how well I ate for so little - and the people are curious but never rude and I will definitely go back. Probably my favourite Chinese city now. And I'll be staying at this hotel again (if they'll have me).
