"Lovely stay at the Grand Hotel. The rooms could do with a refresh however. We had no specific issues. Food was lovely, staff attentive and helpful. Breakfast had good variety. Pool was lovely. Getting into and out of the underground parking was a mission as it was so steep! "
"Beautiful and authentic setting, great pool facilities and perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved our stay in Gozo, I regret not staying here for longer because we didn't manage to see everything we wanted to. Free parking if you have a car which I recommend to see more of the area. "This day was not what we expected at all. First and foremost when looking at the advert for this day, it states a one bedroom one bath duplex. When you click on pictures, it talks about having a private pool, private bathroom and entrance in a space, alter yourself. When I went through the booking and looked at the room available it insured me that I was booking for a one bit one bath private duplex. When I got to the space, it was actually one room and a private duplex with a bathroom that was unattached to the room. Meaning it was in the hallway filled with other rooms. Apparently our bathroom was private and it didn’t have a key, but I don’t really know if it was really as private as it said. I’m going to try to get a refund for this day as well. Talking to Alex the man who operated the site was very difficult as he refused to let me talk and every time I would open my mouth, ask a question or to speak about what I saw. He told me it was my fault for misinterpreting the advert. Not one City actually fully let me talk even after I asked him to please let me talk. he still continue to interrupt and be disrespectful. "
"Our stay was just lovely! This property was great for us a family. It had everything we needed and having 3 bathrooms is just perfect. The house has so much character and is so welcoming, i genuinely miss it! The location was great too, just a short walk to local shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The property was so clean and the team at Baron Homes were so helpful and friendly to deal with. We loved every minute of our stay and without question, would book this property again. "Excellent property in a perfect location on gozo, a short walk from the restaurants in town. This was perfect for our 10 day stay - 7 or so good restaurants to work through in Xaghra, and every cove/beach on gozo was within 20 min drive. The property itself was well kitted out..large fridge/freezer earned its keep in water storage, and the kitchen had an oven/hob and double sink plus a utility room with double sink and washing machine/iron. The living area was spacious and open plan and had TV/internet and sofas so nice lounging around area. We made use of the BBQ and the local butcher in Xaghra on a couple of occasions and it was great to have that flexibility to chillout at the place and eat or eat out close by as well as further afield.
The combination of a quiet island like gozo and this place was perfect for us. Note the info folder is a bit out of date - Wifi access code is on the router, search the internet for the waste collection days.

I wouldn't book a car with carjet.com again - We booked a car for 10 days and paid in full in advance. They reserved it via Movis who re-sold it after we were delayed collecting it on the day. Movis had no cars left when we arrived and Carjet wouldn't return any of the money they pocketed. We had to buy another car on the day from another hire company."
