My wife and stayed here for two weeks in November (the off season) and it was perfect for our base of operations. The rooms are kept spotless. The breakfast (included) is cooked for you daily. And for dinner in the restaurant (not included) food, wine, and service are exceptional. This is a small, locally owned, family run hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners and staff were happy to provide suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Thank you to all. "

"We had a beautiful, clean and comfortable room with balcony on the Piazza, just lovely. Of course the Piazza is noisy and animated but we knew that and it didn't bother us or kept us from enjoying our stay. But be aware that if you stay in this beautiful hotel, it's something to consider. Breakfast is offered at the restaurant across the square. Very basic. Had breakfast there the first morning but chose to go elsewhere after that. Not bad... just not what we were in the mood for I guess. "

"Fantastic property and location …we thought the bells were magical,the house is tucked away with a private roof terrace that means you look out over the Citadel and beyond to the sea .It was an easy walk for morning coffee and all the restaurants. Would be back in a heartbeat if I didn’t live so far away …..than you Jane "
