"We went for a family vacation and booked through Hotels.com. I believe we had lower quality rooms because of this. There was sand all over the floor when walking in. The floor was tile with no entry rug to stop it from spreading whenever you came in and out. The rain shower looks nice but there is no way to prevent it from leaking all over the bathroom floor. Mixing water with sand on your feet, you never feel truly clean. Not to mention all the sand that ends up in your bed and they never changed our sheets!! My child was afraid we would get bed bugs! The chest of drawers smelled like mildew so we lived out of our suitcases for 5 days! The storage in the room is terrible. Knowing people will need to hang wet items around, you would think there would be more options in the room to accommodate that. The resort is WAY OVER PRICED. They nickel and dime you for everything! "

"The staff was professional and really made sure my stay was great. The room was very clean. The location is quite and convent to plenty of dining choices and fuel choices. This was our launching pad for the SE BDR. We also returned to this hotel on our return from Georgia. The property is excellent with plenty of parking for even pick up trucks with motorcycle trailer. We left our trucks here and ventured off to do the first 5 sections of the SE BDR. The morning of departure we had a complementary breakfast that had all the fixing and delicious. Plenty of fresh made coffee. Highly recommend this hotel. The front desk staff are excellent. "

"There was hair in my tub, it won’t drain so you stand in water while showering. The sink had a dark ring around the drain. I took a rag a washed it, left so hopefully they will catch on to clean it. For the price I expected more! Bed was old, not comfortable at all. View was beautiful! "

"The harbor view was so nice. It was great to sit out on the balcony in the morning or evening. The continental breakfast wasn’t that nice. We were fairly satisfied with our accommodations. I was a bit taken aback when we asked for fresh towels for only the second time in a week, and we were told to bring our used towels down to the front desk to exchange them. That didn’t feel accommodating AT ALL It was our only housekeeping ask the entire week. We even took our trash out ourselves and used plastic shopping sacks for our trash. I found that very strange to ask a guest to go traipsing through the hotel with dirty towels. "
