An elegant hilltop club offering history, fine dining, and breathtaking 360-degree views of the Valley of the Sun in Phoenix.
Whether you are hosting a special event or simply want a lovely dinner out, the Wrigley Mansion is the place to be. In 1932, William Wrigley Jr. built this stunning mansion as a gift for his wife. The home, featuring 24 rooms and 12 bathrooms, was built in a unique style reminiscent of Spanish, Mediterranean, and California Monterey architecture. In 1992, the mansion was purchased by Geordie Hormel who restored the building and made it a place for hospitality and banquet functions (Hormel played the piano for guests during Sunday brunch). Hormel and his wife preserved the building with the goal that it would always be a place where everyone would be treated as a guest and be able to enjoy one of the premiere landmarks of Phoenix.
Wrigley Mansion is set atop La Colina Solana, which means small, sunny hill. It operates from Wednesday through Saturday except during the summer months from mid-June to mid-September. It is located northeast of downtown Phoenix, near Piestewa Peak Park. The mansion's atmosphere marries the elegance of long ago with the enthusiasm of today, and visitors are invited to lounge, enjoy a tour, or indulge in a well-deserved dinner.
The 1,565-square-metre restaurant and club offers spectacular views of Camelback Mountain, downtown Phoenix, and the greater Valley of the Sun. The property now operates as a private club, so visitors must first sign up at the entrance for a temporary membership (all entrance fees go to charity). It is the ideal location for a romantic evening the food is the epitome of fine dining. If you are on a lower budget but still want to visit, try stopping in for cocktails and finger foods during happy hour. Visitors are also welcome to try lunch between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Wrigley Mansion Club also offers three Tour and Lunch package deals in which visitors can both see the building and sample the fare—a complete experience.
