Nestled between Banks Channel and the Beach of the island!

Gorgeous penthouse suite is the lap of luxury on second level of this grandfathered duplex home on the island of Wrightsville Beach. Nestled in between the ocean, the channel, Johnny Mercer Pier and the restaurants. Beach access is access 18. Start your day on 1 of the 2 rockers and sip your coffee and catch up on the news before heading to the beach. After a hot day on the beach take a shower in one of the 2 outdoor showers and then, lounge under the covered front deck on the swing or at the table that seats 6 that is shaded by one of the biggest oak trees on the island or in the fenced shared backyard that has a table that seats 12. Kitchen has beautiful sleek quartz counter top, glass tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances. Unit has beautiful Hickory wood floors and gorgeous tile in bathrooms. Both bedrooms have king beds and wall mounted tvs and there is a pull out leather sofa bed that sleeps two. Two full bathrooms one with a tub shower combo and a stand up shower in the other bath with a washer and dryer. Unit is fully stocked with dishes to cook and linens and bedding for your stay. Sleeps 4 but, can up to 6 (extra fee). This rental is not available for long term rental during off season at a discounted rate- it would be the full rate. Please check out our other property at VRBO# 487998- it sleeps up to 6 max and is available for shorter stays as well- same location (as the house is a grandfathered duplex). Or, rent the whole house which sleeps up to 12 max and is VRBO#1269872. The whole house option is great for families who want to be close but, still want some privacy. Each level has its own kitchen, living room, baths and bedrooms and the entrances from one part of the house to the other is from the outside front and back steps only.

Great property and location can not be beat!! All the amenities were great, loved the porch and outdoor area. Felt like we just snuck down and had a retreat in the Treehouse which was much needed!

Base Camp for Ironman NC

The property was a perfect base camp for our long weekend Ironman/vacation trip. The property is conveniently located to race essentials such as shake out swim, swim start, and T1. We truly enjoyed being in this quiet beach community, also a short walk to the beach as well as several restaurants. The property was well stocked and perfect for our group of 4 adults (2 couples). I’d stay here again in a heartbeat whether for another Ironman race or just a quiet getaway vacation.

Awesome stay!

We loved this house. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. It was perfect for us and our toddler. It was a short 3 min walk to the beach. We also loved being walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, and of course the loop! The porch and backyard was a perfect hangout spot daytime or at night. The street was very residential and quiet. We had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again.

World Wind Weekend

We arrived during storm Ophelia. The weather was so bad on the outside but like paradise on the inside. Everything was set up so nicely, a feel of being at home. This is definitely a place that I would Ike to stay again. Thank you 😊

Comfortable, Spacious and Clean place for out little get a way

My daughter and I loved this place! The huge kitchen bar was perfect for working puzzles. The king size beds were comfortable. We enjoyed watching Netflix together in the room my daughter used. It was an easy walk to the beach. We loved walking to the coffee shop in the mornings, then taking another walk in the evenings to walk to dinner. And we enjoyed the shops, and of course Ice cream!!!

Wonderful property and owners

Great home inside and out. Plenty of space, big kitchen, upscale and comfortable furniture, TV's in every room, a huge covered wrap around porch with a large tree that keeps it shaded almost all day long. Home is very updated and exceptionally clean. Very quiet at night. Location cannot be beat. Can walk to practically anything. Owners are very responsive and accommodating.

Great property for our Wrightsville Beach stay

My husband, myself, and a friend stayed 4 nights in April at this property. Both bedrooms have comfortable king beds. There are 2 bathrooms, one in between the bedrooms and one down the hall. The entire unit was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well-appointed. Communication with the owners was very good.....they were very responsive to inquiries before our arrival and provided a cell phone number in case we needed to contact them during our stay. There are nice sitting areas on the front porch as well as back patio. The street was very quiet which provided a restful vacation. It's a very short 2 minute walk to the beach. Would recommend this property for 2 couples or a small family.

Lovely property for families, just one block from the beach in a family-friendly neighborhood. Very helpful hosts as well. My only suggestion would be to add a jacuzzi or upgrade the outdoor shower, still 5 stars
