Hotel was well located, central to the City Centre, facilities were OK, hotel just felt a little dated and in need of some refurbishment.
Staff were excellent and very helpful
Hotel is in need of modernisation very old and tatty furniture, hair in bath plug from previous guest, no soap, shower gel in bathroom you have to pay if you want it and at £134 a night i expect at least soap to wash your hands. Just a shame as it’s a perfect location but the hotel needs some renovations.
This hotel was amazing! The room was large with a high ceiling. All the regular hotel buts and pieces for coffee, tea etc.
The room also came with a super comfortable couch, which was perfect for a rest and not having to sit on the bed.
I was really impressed with the servuces, the TV even had Netflix available.
I will absolutely stay there again when travelling to Worcester :)
excellent balue, very comfortable. They need to ptovide soap for bath, as liquid soap at shower level on wall, so no good when having a bath.
Ash on reception/bar, was very friendly and helpful.
excellent location for the town centre.

The hotel was generally good and comfortable with an excellent location to trains and downtown core and attractions. Counter staff was responsive with other concerns and requests.
The bed was beyond end of life with a deep recess, we did not mention it at departure as it was self evident and the hotel had allowed this to persist. This is picked up with basic maintenance and checking.
This hotel has a VG offering if only it focussed on the basics that travellers require.
Visited with freinds recently. Everthing about the hotel was positive. Great location. Nice clean rooms. Good cooked breakfast. Would definitely reccomend sraying here
Lovely stay. Very friendly staff, lovely comfortable and spacious room. Nice menu but very close to the city centre, where there are loads of restaurants and pubs.

The hotel itself is stunning. Great location. Only issue was that my partner and i being on the larger side and tall, the bed was a bit small.
Paying for parking unexpeted when we arrived at hotel , also £20 for dog ,so after paying for hotel we than had to find another £30 , parking should bd free also £10 we think is reasonable for dogs.

Clearly needs updating, and the service well the poor chap that runs the bar the reception he's the waiter and no doubt the chef! Food was awful BTW ,and my room wasn't made up obviously due to staff shortage.

Fownes Stay
Overall it was below expectations relative to booking based on photos.
Blackout curtains would have improved light outs environment.
Hotel in need of general refurbishment as decor is dated.
No bin in main room. Had to keep going to use bathroom bin.
Lack of accessible electrical points (e.g. laptop). No electrical point where small table was situated. Would have had to move the table to the other side of the room.
A few more chairs in main room for sitting.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff polite and courteous.
When I arrived the room I was in was right next to the lounge area. Put it this way the picture in the lounge next to the settee was the other side of our room. I did ask if poss if I could change as I had to go to bed early and be up at 6am. They said they couldn’t. I was awake most of the night with people in the lounge. As the noise was in consistent I was going to ring the reception then it went quite, then it started up again about 15 mins later. This went on and on. The reception said they couldn’t do anything as I didn’t complain at the time. The other room I book for my friend has even more of a nightmare as there was a wedding and they were more noisy than my room as she was near the main entrance upstairs. She had no hit water at all (this maybe as we were up early).
Again she complained and nothing said. U could see they weren’t bothered.
it was a very pleasant stay. yes the room and decor was a tad tired but for the money i was very happy.
The staff i dealt with were very nice and friendly.
My only disappointment was the £10 for parking.
Very central, with just a short stroll to the Cathedral and town. Very welcoming staff. Excellent value for money. Breakfast good, however coffee from the machine was very weak, so perhaps opt for tea.
Broken floor number selector in lift 1/2 pushed inwards appeared unsafe, told it’s often out of service due to this but was in use. Double bed in room 306 very small with plug socket under a desk near to skirting board that’s wasn’t easily accessible especially for me having joint and back problems. Room also very hot. After speaking with staff and showing them the size of the bed alternative room offered. Again, location of plugs not great couldn’t access a mirror when using hairdryer and socket low down at side of desk to charge phone. Had to carry the boiled kettle across to the table where refreshments tray was. Both rooms were very clean, bed was comfy and extra pillows were available. Location was great and staff were very helpful.
Photos of bigger room below. Kettle and tray were on the round table in pic 1 sockets were either left side of tv or across on the smaller cabinet at side of the bed. Mirror behind the door or in the bathroom
Nice bar man was the only good aspect.
Very noisy all night and terrible bed and shower.

Worcester Friday....
Ideal, single evening stay....I saw other comments advising the rooms were old & that is the case, but they are large & spacious. Shower was lovely & warm and Staff were perfectly pleasant. Bit annoying that as a resident you have to pay for parking....inc that in the bill & hide it, don't make a guest pay seperately for that.

Only stayed one night, convenient for the city centre etc but it’s very tired and needs a refurbish in the rooms. Comfortable bed though. Very expensive parking £10 and not very happy with the £50 deposit we had to pay on arrival which took a week to be refunded.
