Our Nordic inspired Cabin HYGGE provides you with a bedroom-in-nature concept featuring a full-wall window, cozy fireplace and a relaxation nook, full kitchenette, along with a luxury, hotel-quality queen bed and a loft bed.

Everything you need to be comfortable and cozy -- nothing you don't. It is the perfect setting for you to spend quality time with your family or friends in a gorgeous, peaceful natural environment.

HYGGE (pronounced as "hoo-guh") is a Danish word that describes a mood of coziness, connection, and a feeling of contentment. The moment you come to Lumen and enter Cabin Hygge, we hope you will feel just that.

There's no greater feeling than to be able to share a few relaxing nights in nature, with the sound of a babbling brook a few feet away, talking into the night under the stars with your loved ones.

Great relaxing stay

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Even though I think all spots were booked during my day but it didn’t feel crowded at all. It was very relaxing and peaceful. Lots of free amenities and clear instructions on how to book them. Was also very clean. We will come back.

Amazing escape from reality!

I stayed (with my 2 pups) in a cabin. It was AMAZING. Clean, easy access to hiking & the Kangamangus. I was close to a brook, and while there was another cabin close by, it was quiet and I felt very safe. It was bit of a walk (3-4 minutes) to the bath house (my cabin was literally the furthest away), but a small price to pay for a beautiful stay.

Magical!

If you are looking for a magical winter stay, this is it. The location is ideal with scenes of water and mountains in the wintery White Mountains. The walks at night along the tree lined lights gave the area a magical feel. The VRBO is EXACTLY as advertised: clean, comfortable and owners are very responsive. Their website provided itineraries which are WONDERFUL. We visited the suggested restaurants, found their recommended winter hikes, and visited the Ice Castle suggestions without having to do the research. Thank you for a WONDERFUL long weekend :)
